Happy Birthday, Sophie Jean!

Most of these pictures were taken when Nana, Aunt Lisa, Aunt Carrie and cousin Max were in town... we had an early birthday celebration for Sophie so she could celebrate with family. She was very modest - when we would sing happy birthday to her, she would sing "Happy Birthday to you, Mommy!" More to come after her actual birth day...

Baby Boone is here!!

Boone Joseph Stehlik arrived Sept 4th at 8:56pm. He was an easy delivery and has been a very layed back, easy baby. We are all so excited to have him home, especially Sophie... she makes sure he has his binkie and blankie with him at all times and has been nothing but sweet and gentle with him. And Boone loves to hear her voice. They are great buddies already!

The Wiggles and Sophie's New Room!

We took Sophie on Monday to see the Wiggles... she loved it!!

Sam Wiggle. Sophie knows them all by colors. She would say "Ooh, yellow!" or "Ooh, purple!"

It was a night time show, so she was allowed binky and blankie half way through. :)

Nana came in town and helped Mommy (almost) finish Soph's big girl room. It looks great and she loves it. Just needs a couple final touches then complete focus on baby's room!

Our old cubby works perfect to hold all of her little toys, picture frame, etc. This is at the foot of her bed.

We brought in her toy chest along with some homemade picture boards. I've put a few pictures up, but Sophie loves taking them down and carry them around with her... especially the picture of her and daddy. :)

Very early stages of updating the baby's room.... move over pink, green and yellow... hello blue and white!

You can see paint testers on the wall... you wouldn't believe how many white colors there are out there!

More swatches. Curtains may be exchanged... depends on the rug we find.

Lots more to do, but we are getting there! Papaw is going to do the painting when he comes in Sept 2nd. Once I find a rug, everything will come into place.
